Intent

Religious Education at Chesterton encourages our pupils to develop their sense of identity and belonging. Through our RE curriculum we promote broad religious understanding, respect and open-mindedness toward others within our local community and beyond who have different faiths and beliefs. We provide children with ample opportunities to share their insights, enabling them to use self-awareness and reflection to challenge prejudice, discrimination and stereotyping. When our children leave Chesterton they are ready for life in modern Britain and beyond.
